Comments, Forums and Free Speech Disclaimer

The Fundworker community thrives on discussion. This Site and podcast values the exchange of “free speech” for ideas and opinions to support the fundworker community. Comments are normally approved unless they are considered SPAM or use what is the Fundworker Podcast considers inappropriate including but not limited to racial slurs, hateful language, contrary religious, anti-religious or anti-Christian views. The podcast and its website enjoys protection as “free speech”  Any belief that commenters or listeners have a personal right of “free speech” on this site to post comments or make statements that are deemed “hurtful or harmful” to our culture or community are misguided.

The Fundworker Podcast does allow and encourages “reasonable speech.” Comments or posts that use clarifying terms such as “cults” or “liberals”, etc. would be allowed. That is assuming that such terms –

• Contributes constructively to the conversation
• Are meant to identify a group of people rather then an entire segment of society (i.e. many millennials are …. and millennials are not …)
• Are not intended as personal attacks toward others posting to the site

In short it is generally clear when statements are devoid of biblical love and understanding, argumentative, or goading  and such comments are not allowed. Commenters that pursue a thread that has been deemed “inappropriate” or continue to be disruptive to the community environment will be considered trolls.   Contrary comments about a show, a guest, the host, etc are permitted and however once made and response given the issue will be closed.  Continued dialogue will might result risk a site wide ban.

All comments and/or communications are moderated.  Moderation is preformed each a day if possible.  A legitimate email address is required to be provided.  Your email address is used to notify you of responses to your comments or if the site owners need to contact you.  It doesn’t place you on a mailing list and is never shared with the public or any other company or entity.

Linking to sites considered by the Fundworker Podcast or the moderators as “inappropriate” will not be permitted. What constitutes an “appropriate” site is at the discretion of the Fundworker Podcast and or the designated moderators. There is no promise of  free speech on the Fundworker Podcast site. The Fundworker Podcast site uses Akismet to filter all spam.  Commenters using proxies will get deleted and never moderated or viewed.  This Site views comments via proxies as pure spam and/or people who have already been banned.
